Product Overview
CLIMAFLEX® Foam Pipe Lagging is a commonly used insulation in the UK, and Europe, to insulate central heating pipework and as a pipe insulation in loft spaces to prevent freezing. In most domestic applications CLIMAFLEX® pipe insulation is an excellent combination of good performance and low cost.
Features:
- Because of its low thermal conductivity, CLIMAFLEX® reduces the loss of heat from distributors in plumbing and heating installations by up to 80%. This maximises not only the cost efficiency, but also the ecological efficiency of the entire unit.
- CLIMAFLEX® is a foam product with sound absorbing properties, reducing pop and flow noises in pipes. Polyethylene foam is a cost-efficient material with outstanding insulating properties. Products made of PE foam yield an excellent cost/performance ratio.
- CLIMAFLEX® 2m Pipe Insulation, sold by the length.
Climaflex Foam Pipe Lagging Applications:
- Plumbing – Ideal for plumbing applications, CLIMAFLEX® is made from flexible polyethylene foam which can be easily worked around tight corners and in confined spaces where you do not have a lot of room, such as airing cupboards or close to walls inside. 13mm Thick CLIMAFLEX® Pipe Insulation offers a balance of flexibility, performance and budget.
- Frost Protection – One of the most common applications CLIMAFLEX® is used for is Frost Protection. When used at the correct thickness to comply with Water Bylaw 49, you can properly insulate the pipes in unprotected areas of your house such as loft spaces above the loft insulation, or in areas prone to drafts such as under the floors or below windows.
