Mohlenhoff 230v 2Wire NC Actuator Head M30 is a motorised valve that opens and closes ports on underfloor heating manifolds. Can also be used with inline valves.
Electro-thermal actuators can be installed on on-off valves, like piston zone valves, or on cutout valves mounted on manifold outtakes. In general, they are controlled directly by a room thermostat that closes a contact, thus allowing the actuator to be fed. The system features an inner wax thermostat that, due to the effect of electric current, warms up and gets longer. This forces the piston to move within the actuator and to drive the valve spindle closed or open. The actuator is available in NC (normally closed) and NO (normally open) upon request (not stocked). NC actuators are designed to keep the valve closed through a spring, when it is powered off. NO Actuators have an internal mechanism that inverts the sense of working (valve open without power supply).
